Title: Refrigerator Pickles (Tried, True and Loved)

3qtCucumbers
3mdOnions
1/4cSalt
1 1/2cCider vinegar
3cSugar

Put in large (gallon size) glass or plastic bowl. Put salt over the cucumbers and onions. Let stand 2 hours stirring occasionally. Drain well. Mix vinegar and sugar. Pour over cucumbers and onions. Cover. Put in fridge. Can use them the next day but they're better if you let them chill together for 2 or 3 days before eating.

Supposedly they last up to 6 months. Wouldn't know - they're eaten within a week!
